" Not so Good Burger Experience "
I decided to write and share our not so good experience yesterday after availing vouchers from a group buying site. My family always ensure bonding time together. Eating outside is one of our favorite things to do. So far we enjoyed coupons offered by different food establishment. Pleased and completely satisfied.
Since I am a blogger. I wrote things in accordance to my own views and perception. No offense, but we were so disappointed on this not so known burger chain located in Ortigas Center.
Disappointments started from the time we entered the door, the lady behind the counter just ignore us. She was alone that time. We waited patiently until finally she said hello to us. I showed my coupons to her for their master list verification. Our name was not written, but voucher code and print out testify our proof. She told us to just write our name instead.
She got our orders this time another lady assisted her. We ordered 2 varieties of Beef burger, 2pcs chicken with rice (Menu names were listed but i will just keep it confidential). I tried to ask if theres any pasta or salad available but its not on their menu.
I do not eat beef, I ordered sandwich with a chicken fillet and taho.
While we were waiting, our table keep on rocking. Its very annoying, at least somehow for that very small space, checking the amenities must be done regularly. We were at the corner beside the glass wall seeing everything outside. I noticed the glass keep on shaking, making me worried because it might break anytime. My husband check the glass and found out that it was not fixed. Its a sliding glass door and that time its unlock, we found it very unusual.
Our food arrived. Seeing the appearance gave me the notion that its not good. Ordinary disposable plates, cheap plastic spoon and fork, cheap napkins, cheap glass like the one using for samalamig sa kalye(street juice).
My chicken sandwich comes with a fries. very limited number of fries approximately 8pcs only. Fries were short, hard, greasy and extremely salty!!!... As if the they put the salt all over. I dont allow my kids to eat my fries. I just ordered for another set. Already paid for it and remind the attendant not to put salt anymore.
My kids fried chicken was horrible. Hard as stone. Already dark maybe because of reheat. My husband requested for a metal spoon but its not available. N o chance for us to use disposable spoon and fork to portion chicken, It will break for sure. The cashier gave us plastic knife instead. Tasting it indeed confirm that chicken was totally lapsed.
Burger was messy. It has a bacon on it. However, bacon was not even cut. My son almost choke. The way it was cook, still a little bit frozen and reddish.
My husband got rice with beef. Preparation was too slimy. Egg yellow cream scattered all over the rice since it was place on top. Rice was mix with too much soy sauce.
I tried their home tea. Another dismay because it was tasteless.
The only thing I can commend was the "Taho". I dont see any relevance of mixing traditional pinoys favorite here. Checking their menu, Burgers and fries promoted as their specialties, but here, "taho" as dessert (He-he great twist huh!)
All in All, everything was not pleasant. From the staff, comfort room (complicated turning on faucet), No service water (I believe was basic and courtesy). No Wifi, to think most establishment beside has its own. And the most important of all FOOD QUALITY. Nothing to expect honestly. Based on menu pricelist, I can say that its not worth the price.
This Blog has no intention of writing against anybody. I just want to share my own thoughts and experience as ordinary consumer. Hopefully this will knock the management and do something about the concerns. No matter if its good or bad criticism still an important details to consider. Costumers definitely wouldnt go back if their experience was the same as ours. Quality should comes with the price....
